The seventh festival of experimental electronic music and visual arts organized by the platform Störung will start next Wednesday 18th of April offering us, during four days, the performances of outstanding national and international artists of the electronic and experimental scene.
This festival wants to offer the audience the chance of getting to know in detail different tendencies of the electronic music scene, continuing the work that the multidisciplinary platform Störung has been doing since 2006.
Störung Festival 7 features, besides the performances of the invited artists, conferences and workshops.

- Workshop: Live Video Ensemble

Live Video Ensemble is a live generative video project conceived by Claudio Sinatti in collaboration with O’Associazione No Profit and performed by a 10 element ensemble together with a musician of Störung Festival 7: Vainqueur.
The show will follow a 2 day workshop in which the 10 participants will be prepared for the execution of the performance visuals. During the workshop they will be guided through all phases of production: from the analysis of the performance space to the technical setup, from software programming to content creation, from the use of the final instrument to free interpretation, receiving thus an overview of the different elements which compose this art practice.
During the show the musician and the ensemble compose a single, abstract, completely improvised, yet perfectly synced, audio-video stream.Using a costum generative software the performers can link the music in real time to different image parameters as well as controlling the scene manually. The result is a highly organic audiovisual show in which the sounds seem to be produced directly from the images.
Live Video Ensamble project aims to explore the grammatical nuances of an organic cinema towards a further immersive and synaesthetic audience experience, and a more complete and free performer expression.
Some guest musicians invited to perform in the past were: Scanner, Christian Fennesz, Teho Teardo, Giuseppe Ielasi, AGF+Vladislav Delay, Byetone, Asférico...
This activity has the special collaboration of Cutoff. Languages: Spanish, English and Italian.
